Does a comparison, but….

First, I’d like to point out that the “Lite” version was pitiful; it only gave a thumbs-up, thumbs-down result for a whole directory tree. Then after that, you’re given the option to update, which I did, because I had a big comparison that I needed to see… Turns out that the app didn’t save any data for the “full” version to check. This wasn’t some dinky folder check; it was 2.5 real days of non-stop comparison (yeh, 3.2 TB takes a while).

My beefs with the “Full” version is: On the first error encountered, the app locked-up and had to force quit it because it wouldn’t honor the “cancel” button or the “quit” menu item. Even after I restarted, with not error condition, the “cancel” and “quit” functionality didn’t work. I just think that for $5, the “cancel” and “quit” functionality should work.

I may have another beef when I get done with the next 2.5 day comparison, but that doesn’t compute here.
